I realise I am a touch early but Happy 2007! 2006 was a huge year for me so I almost hope 2007 is toned down a bit in comparison
If you are the person who makes New Years Resolutions, I will wish you the best of luck with those but I for one, don’t believe in them.
It is definitely great to be back down in the land of Aus. I have been back for 5 days now and I still have a few weeks left. So if I haven’t run into you yet, lookout
Cheerio
Not long now until I start the Journey home. I still have to pack, clean out my fridge, finish the laundry and run the dishwasher.
Now, you may ask what have I been doing? Well, not much really. I have managed to stop my mail and organise a ride to the airport tomorrow.
I guess you could say that I am starting to get excited
We finally had our scheduling meeting at work and I now have my tickets to come home (:D). The funny thing about it all is that when I was changing my ticket, I had trouble getting a seat which was in my economy class (there are a bunch of enomomy classes – G,L,M,N,O,Q,R,S,V,Y,B,H and K). I had to upgrade to a ‘better’ enomomy class to get a seat (oh well).
My flight leaves the US on December 24th and touches down in Melbourne on December 26th… Looks like I will be riding with Santa this year
I get into Hobart if all goes to plan at 1:10pm boxing day.
If anyone is interested, my flights are below:
US Airways UX4409 - Harrisburg (MDT) to Pittsburg (PIT)
US Airways UX4907 – Pittsburg (PIT) to Washington Int’l (IAD)
American Airlines QF3082/AA75 - Washington Int’l (IAD) to Los Angeles (LAX)
Qantas Airways QF94 – Los Angeles (LAX) to Melbourne (MEL)
Virgin Blue DJ368 – Melbourne (MEL) to Hobart (HBA)
So five flights, four airlines later I will be home
