Last Friday started off as a standard day. It was off to work as usual. Definitely nothin special going on
After a few hours of working, an envelope arrived with a little extra something in it – bonus time
So by this time, I am havin a pretty gooood Friday. The sun is out and the birds are singing..
Well I checked my mail and I got a surprise.
I got my first USA credit card
Woohoo! Granted the limit is $300 but it is a start!
So what started as standard turned into a damn good Friday!
For those of you familiar with the BBC Series Topgear, i found something funny on the net.Below is a video of a Battle Field 2 (BF2) topgear tank parody episode. It is pretty funny! (Well I think it is….)
Edit: I took out the embedded video as it was causing IE7 some issues.. Below are some links to watch it.

IT woman #1: How do you work this thing?
IT guy #1: What is it? An iPod?
IT woman #1: Yeah, I’m trying to restart it but I don’t know how.
IT guy #3: Ctrl, alt, delete!
IT woman #1: Don’t any of you have iPods to help me out?
IT guy #2: I’ll call my kids.

Oh no, I am afraid that something is just around the corner and there is nothing I can do about it…. WINTER! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Gone are the days for this year that I can go “ha ha” to people back in Aus on their cold winter days for what goes around, comes around.
Yes, over the last few days we have been getting previews of what the season is to bring with night time temperatures almost crossing over into below freezing. I think it is time to go and buy some more warm clothes.
Work has been very busy with the Canada project. There is not a lot more to do and I will be happy when we are all done.
I don’t really have much more to say! How boring!
I have been meaning to blog all week and I know that saying I was busy is pretty generic! Now, at this point some of you may be wondering what I am going on about regarding spam and beans… well, let me show you
_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg)
I would like to introduce you to Spammy! Spammy is my new desk companion. He hangs out with me all day while I work away in my cube. Spammy’s interests include not being eaten, sitting, reading and listening to music.
As can also be seen are two cans of baked beans. What needs to be said about that is that they are Heinz Baked beans and therefore very good*.
Spammy and the beans were part of the recent festivities known to people all around the world as my birthday. That’s right, I am now 25! (Good god). I am now also a proud owner of a Canon S3 IS digital camera. My old one is still a good camera and will still be used I am sure. Thanks mum and dad for helping me to finance it
Thanks to Ally and Ellie to for my other spam related gifts (a blanket + more) and cards
I have been thinking about all the good things about turning 25. I have made an extensive list below:
- I can now rent a car more easily
- Cheaper insurance
- ….
Well, tata for now!

* This is not a paid advertisment (dammit!). Just remember “Beans beans good for your heart, the more you eat, the more you fart. The more you fart, the better you feel, so have some beans with every meal.. Hmmm, does not look like turning 25 has had an effect on me what so ever! Woohoo!
