La Junta

by Chris on August 15th, 2006

Well today is Monday and all being normal, it would be a work day…. but today is special.. it rained :-) I am currently out in La Junta, Colorado working on the Pueblo bombing range. I am not doing data collection this time though, I am part of the reacquire team. We are running around with a GPS marking targets.

I was actually pulled off a pump testing job to come out here. I was working up in Northern PA near Hazleton. It was cool to do something different even though it involved getting up at odd hours to visit the flowmeter to make sure everything is alright.

La Junta is a pretty small town with a few Hotels, places to eat, businesses and surprise, surprise.. a Walmart. The internet access at the hotel is not crash hot but it is sorta nice to be off it for a while.

There is not a lot more going on at the moment and I should be back home in a week.
