Anyone that has spoken to me about air travel in the US would have heard about my luck with getting ontime flights through Chicago (That has only happened once). I was beading into the Airport today to fly to Denver and the United line was huge… I started to look around for the departures TV as the lines are only long in Harrisburg if there are a problem.

I see the offending flight on the screen… The morning Chicago flight was delayed. United couldn’t even blame the weather this time! They had three people on the counters frantically rebooking people since most people had connection problems.

Some people call me mad for opting to connect through Washington DC or Philli as it means you have one tiny flight (you never get to cruising altitude) and a long one but today shows another example of how it pays off

Tomorrow i’m heading back to Denver. I am heading out to help wrap up the job out there. It is expected to take a couple of weeks which gets me back home for the 4th of July weekend.
Also making headlines, I now have my own set of wheels. I got a silver 2000 Honda CRV LX. It is pretty tidy with only a few marks on it. It is good to drive and I am looking forward to driving it some more. I will add some pics soon!

In the last couple of weeks I have been working on getting my US Drivers Licence (spelt License over here). I got my learners on the 24th of May and I did the driving test today. I got a perfect score! It is nice to be official and it allows me to drive work vehicles as I am now covered on the insurance.. Woohoo!
