Hey, MSN launched a pretty cool site today.. It is MSN Virtual Earth. It covers the US only but it has aerial pics similar to google maps.
Here is a link to where I work in Hershey (I work just near the ‘322′ road sign
While on the topic of MSN, I have re-added the MSN Alerts link to the side bar. If the updates have not been working, try unsubscribing and resubscribing to fix.
Cheerio
Hey,
I thought it was time for an update so here goes
I have been back in Hershey since the 2nd of July. The last week has been fairly quiet when it comes to work… I have not been billable since Tuesday which is a bummer…
All the processing for the Langley job has been wrapped up which is good
I am off to the NAOC conference for 2 days this week which will be an interesting experience.
Ian has been in Hershey since last Tuesday. We saw the remake of Charlie and the Choccie factory on Saturday… it was great! It is much better than the old version
We also made it down to the Parkside pub which had cheap beer ($1.75!!!!!!) and good food
Thats pretty much it! Hope all is well

Just got word that I am not going back to Devens :’(. The company who has the contract is demobing all ARM / G-tek people at the end of the week so there is no point driving up for one weeks work…
Ah well….
Guess what.. I am going back to Devens on Monday! I am driving up again in my nice red rental Mazda6.
As it stands, I will be up there for anywhere between 2-5 weeks. Also coming up in the same time frame is the NAOC conference in Maryland. I am looking forward to the oppurtunity to meet other people in the same industry. I will be flying down from Massachusetts to attend.
Should be fun!

Hi Chris, do you know the webmail address for gtek accounts? I’m in the Tanami Desert with satellite web but no email
. Can you blog it?
Obviously no point emailing it… Thanks in advance, M.
PS: Maybe I should send you some Virginia pics :-p

Just an update on how things are (not) progressing with EasyMessaging (formally PowerSMS).. The way things are looking, I am pushing for a Q4 2005 release of EasyMessaging.. I hope to get FreeVodaFone SMS back up around the same time as well… I want to run it all off the same sort of backend code but change just the sending class between the 2 sites…
The Data Acquisition for Langley has now been completed! The project was a toughie due to certain characterisitics of the site and a strict deadline.
Unfortunately I did not get a real chance to get out and about in VA due to working pretty much every day… but there is still a chance! I will be going back to a different area in VA in a week or so for a different project for the US Navy. It is a small project so it should go smoothly…..
I am presently back in Hershey, PA for the long 4th July weekend.. it is good to be able to catch some extra shuteye and tone down the pace a little…
