Whats been happening….

I know, I know… I need to write more on here and it should be interesting :-)

Anyways, things have been busy busy lately. The field effort for the Aberdeen Minelab testing finished up last week and I have been in Hershey since. I have been involved with the testing of a new positioning system (ranger) that relies on the timing of radio transmissions. The ranger system seems impressive providing accuracy of around 20cm.

Over the last week I have also been gaining some experience with the Geonics EM-61. It is the main competitor for G-tek’s TM-5 Emu.

In a week or so I will be starting on a project in Devens, Massachusetts. It is an EM-61 UXO project. I expect to be there until I head to Fort Lowry, Colorado. At Lowry I will be part of the office crew turning the data around for the client.

Between all this training and learning, I managed to get down to Gettysburg, PA. Gettysburg is around 90 minutes south-west of here and it is where Abraham Lincoln presented the famous Gettysburg Address in 1863. I have uploaded all my piccies to the gallery.

And finally, what sort of brother would I be if I did not mention Ellen’s Birthday!!! On the 22nd, she turned a whopping 22!! Be sure to keep an eye on her website for some piccies!
