I have made it all safe and sound into Hobart today….. and bloody hell, it is COLD!! It is good to be back though and I look forward to catching up with everyone before I go..

It looks like I am going back to the USA on March 30! I am going over for two main projects: Aberdeen, Maryland and Lowry, Colorado.

It looks like I am going to be over there for a while as the Lowry job is set to finish in September.

I am trying to get back to Tas before I go. It looks like I will be down somewhere around the 23rd of this month.

Free SMS will be hosted on the current IDS server until the 25th of March. After a fair bit of stuffing around (due to my old and bad coding) I have got free sms going on my server. When the time comes to swap servers, it will only be a matter of updating the database on the new server and changing the DNS records and Free Vodafone SMS will be relocated! Essentially no downtime is expected!

Guess what I did today…. I unresigned! The reasoning behind this relates to Visa issues for the United States. The H1-B Visa I require to work in the USA for a USA company cannot be issued at present time as there is a cap on the number that can be issued in a fiscal year which has already been reached…. But not all is lost! I have my job back with G-tek and I am still going to the states between April and September so there is still an exciting year ahead of me!
