Day Out in Flag

Got off my bum today and went with a group of people from work to a few local geological delights. The first stop of the day was at the Lava Tubes about 15 miles from flagstaff. They are around 1.5km long and are pretty specky. While at the tubes, i managed to hit my head and make a mess of my forehead. I will be wearing a hat for a few days

After the tubes, we went to Sunset Crator. It is a cinder cone volcano which was also pretty cool. We did not have time to do it properly so sometime I might head back and have a better look around.
