More details about the new job came through today. I am going to be based in flagstaff, arizona and working at an old usa training site. Apparently temperatures over there are not above zero at this time of year so i was told to pack my ‘warm winter woolies’.
For part of the job, I have to complete an OHS course where part of it is web based and part is practical based. The web based part takes 32 hours! I need to have it done before the 7th which is when I am flying to brisbane 
I put my passport application in today. I rocked up to the passport office a touch b4 nine to see Ian waiting patiently there for them to open.
I also had a BBQ today which was nice. Sat around in the sun eating and drinking with friends – what a nice way to spend the afternoon To top the day off, it was off to the taste. I enjoyed lime and rasberry varieties of beers and a lovely rasberry sundae.
I was finishing up @ work today when I reached for my mobile and I noticed a missed call from an 07 number. 07 = queensland = g-tek. I also had a msg to call a mobile so I did and I found myself talking to some guy (forgot his name) from G-Tek.
I have been offered a job with G-Tek commencing as early as January 5. I will be going to brisbane initially but will be soon jetting off to arizona, usa if I can get my passport in order.
My life now has a path, I am an employed Geophyicist, I have a proper job. Blowout

I had a good day today. The G-Tek interview went really well. John was really nice – the interview went for almost 2 hours but it did not seem no where near that long. Hopefully hear something soon!
It is airlee’s birthday today too, I got here the cutest bunnie! It is gorgeous! We went out to dinner @ the drunken admiral which was nice.

Good news… I have got a job interview for the G-Tek job mentioned a while ago. It is on wednesday so wish me luck!!

I can’t believe how close it is to christmas now! it is like less than 2 weeks away and I have done very little chrissy shopping and everyone is so hard to buy for!!! ARRRGH!

Our ADSL churn has gone through and we are now on netspace More megs Thats why the site was down yesterday.
I have been working a bit in the last week or so. Nice pay. Worked at a Tandy store yesterday – a lot easier than Dick Smith!
