Whats going on in the life of Chris Parker
The server totally died today. It was running on a computer borrowed from howard. The computer no longer boots and the hard disk that was in it no longer spins in any pc that I have put it in.
Consequenty, I have lost a few blogs but that is about all. The funny thing is that it happened when I was backing up 
The server is now operating back on the original hardware which is a P2 350 with 780 megs of ram.
Well the thesis is done! It is currently at the binders and I will pick it up and submit it tomorrow. It is 98 pages long + forward + appendicies..
For the first time in ages, i can relax. I am a bit tired though, have been up for 29 hours
My thesis is due on Friday (Arrrgh!). I still have a fair bit to do. I need to get it to the binder on Thursday morning to ensure it is ready in time. The thesis is currently sitting on 88 pages with still a bit more to do…..
I printed it all out tonight.. it is sort of coming together 
I am going to be so happy when I hand it over to Garry
It has nine chapters
I hope I finish in time
James gave back some work today. I have bits to fix and change left right and center but he said it was ok.
Howard and Charles started work today at dytech solutions. Moving up in the big wide world
The DVD for Red Dwarf series 3 was released today. I have placed my order I got it from d-store cause I had one of the $10 maccas vouchers I could use. I will hopefully have it wednesday next week!

I have less than two weeks to complete my thesis – I am going to be very busy! I have a fair bit still to do but with some hard work and dedication *cough* I hope to get there.

Bahuma was hacked yesterday and hence no blog entry.
C2r from a group that call themselves xfree got root shell access to my machine through a vulnerability on the system. He defaced my webpages, deleted the logs and put in a back door.
I have since re built the server on a new computer with a newer version of server software to try and prevent this from happening again.
Today is the second anniversary of amber weatherstones death. I cant believe it. It feels like so so long ago. I look back in my mind of the good memories, they still make me smile. I wonder what she would be doing today if she was still alive
Had a telstra dinner tonight. The food was quite good this time and they gave us some free beers Won myself a nice telstra clock for answering a question which was cool.
The remainder of the honours talks were on today – everyone did well I am soooo glad mine was the other day
